A Geotechnical Report is created for all non-residential developments. Although they are often similar to a Site Classification Report (soil test), they are not covered in the residential building code and generally require deeper testing with more specific soil parameters to be determined.

Geotechnical Reports
A geologist will visit your site and drill a number of test bores in the places of the proposed new building foundations. A detailed report will then be made and issued to you. All site reports meet the Australian standard 2870 for footings and slabs.
